The story of "The Water Queen" is basically my favorite childhood story with a twist. Which story is that? Well when I was a little girl, I was fascinated by the story of "The Little Mermaid." I loved to daydream about being half human and half fish. Of course, I knew that it was totally fantasy, but the idea behind the story continued with me. So the story of "The Water Queen" came into existence this year. It is about a princess who is being forced to marry. Unwilling to marry just anyone, the princess spends her days by the sea pondering her dilemma. It is during one of these days that she meets an unlikely person - a merman! Can he help her? Only time will tell...

Alexandria [Alex] Stone has just graduated from high school. She decides to celebrate her new freedom by flying to Colorado to spend the summer with her friend Amanda Jacques. Life could not be more perfect. Her vacation is suddenly cut short, when Alex finds herself kidnapped and fighting with death. Can she depend on God even when her life is at risk? Today I finished the manuscript for my first novel. I am currently sending it to agents and publishers. It is my prayer to have it published, but even if it doesn't, I praise God for the experience. I will continue to write as long as God gives me the ability to dream and create stories for His GLORY.
